ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Upon this Rock Ministries is a non-profit mission's ministry, recognized by the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Since its inception in 2004, UTRM has existed to be an answered prayer to the local church in Central America, with resources to expand its influence.
WHAT WE DO
Currently, UTRM is focused on providing church facilities to congregations in need all over Latin America. It is our desire that every servant of God would no longer need to gather under trees and in rundown facilities. To date, we have built churches in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Costa Rica.
HOW WE DO IT
Through prayer and close collaboration with trusted leaders in each country, we begin by identifying a congregation in need. Once selected, a team of about 30 individuals from the United States joins with roughly 60 others from across Latin America, many from churches UTRM has partnered with in previous years.
Within just 5–7 days of arriving, a new church facility is fully constructed from the ground up. The trip culminates in a powerful celebration service held inside the new building, often attended by 300 to 400 people, including those from the surrounding community.
Throughout the week, our team is also deeply engaged in outreach across the community. This includes kids outreaches, school assemblies, men’s and women’s events, home visits, and street evangelism. All designed to share the Gospel, strengthen the local church, and create meaningful, personal connections with the people we serve.

There are two ways you can help towards this mission. You can donate your TIME by joining us on one of our trips and helping us build an upcoming project. Or you can donate RESOURCES such as finances, new clothes, toys and personal care items. This ministry is only possible because of people like you who are willing to sow their resources or time into the Kingdom.
